Fred I'm so glad you put a period correct scoop on the car.
At this point he needs a water and oil pump that work first...
JOHNRR I changed the scoop because I had no choice. There was no way I could see anything with the tall cowl.
Dave if you would have read my post on the water pump problem it is a common problem being air bound and many here have had it happen. The pump is fine. Same as for the oil pump comment. posted the info in what you quoted restricted baffle in the vacuum pump caused that. Nothing wrong with pump. For a guy who was technical editor I would expect that you would have paid more attention.
