Also, I noticed that the standard dash gauges look just like the ones in '68-70 b-bodies. Would that mean that you could use the round gauge panel in a b-body? Just idle thinking.

An A body would be close, but they are thier own car actually... They are a real short wheelbase, yet wide at the same time
As for gauges, they are nothing like a US car when you look at them closely, I'll take some pics tomorrow in the light of the dash to show you. FYI, the tach and gauge cluster was done by VDO t here (factory of course)
