Have converted 4 cars, so far the only thing I have found is a little corrosion on the main body behind the metering blocks. Nothing as far as the fuel cell (alum) or the filters or pumps. Have inspected all of them. Looking into getting the main body of the carb anodized, I know it can be done just don't know who to have do it! Any ideas? I have seen aftermarket carbs done, had a set of Books that were anodized, maybe I'll call them. If anyone has a source to do this please let me know,as I would like to remedy to problem before it eats the main body past the point of repair. Thanks.

Google DIY anodizing and you will find many articles explaining how to do it yourself. Small parts like carbs can be done in a bucket.

Or just try this link. http://www.caswellplating.com/kits/index.html

But anodizing would only work with aluminum carbs. The majority of Holley carbs are zinc and I think would need to be nickel or chromate coated.

You might get some ideas from these two links.
