My car is getting close to being ready for paint and I was eyeing up 1970 EK2 Go-Mango as one of my color choices. I had the PPG vendor mix up a touch up bottle of paint just so I could see what it looks like before commiting to a full gallon and it looks more like brown than orange to me.

I have never seen a car with go-mango paint in person so I can only go by the pictures I have in car magazines and on the net. This touch up paint is no where near as vibrant or appealing as I thought it might be. Looks almost like Heinz 57 sauce.

Is it common to have urethane paints reworked so they look right? Trouble is I don't have access to a sample of what it's really supposed to look like otherwise they could mix it to match. The whole car has PPG primer on it so I'm stuck with PPG paint now.
