Thanks for the input. The car should be about 3300 lbs all steel with 3/4 chromoly chassis.




weight does not hurt nearly as much as N/ A
compared to a turbo combo. In many cases it causes the turbo to work harder faster and aids in building boost.Andy Jensen's outlaw Corvette used a low first gear but shifted into second by the 60' mark.It was done to trick the turbo into thing it had more weight to pull. it built the boost super quick but by then it was already in second gear and flying .
Your car might need higher low gear to save blowing the tires away or standing the car up on launches.
