Yeah but at what point does the drag on the car outweigh the forced air ? and would it not be better to be more aerodynamic and force the air another way like with a tube to the carb like the Fords use?




Very true... I'm sure there is a trade off... I am
planning on using a cowl on my drag week car BUT using
a pair of front mounted tubes to supply the air to
a sealed air pan... hopefully this will give me the
best of both worlds
