Ok, so I went there today to see how the truck was coming along. He already had the check valve drilled out, cleaned and reinstalled.

He had the pan dropped and no busted pieces were in there. Just normal wear stuff on the magnet.

I got the truck back tonight and it still seems like it is running about 250rpm's faster at 65(about 2000). The reason I reference 65 is because that is where I always set my cruise when heading to work so I am used to how it ran before this incident.

I got home and replaced the TPS and basically it still runs the same.

Before the incident, I could lift my foot lightly off the gas at 65 and rpm's would drop to a hair above the 1750 rpm mark and pretty much hold there.

I am stumped.
