I LOVE that!!! We did a 4spd '68 Roadrunner with a bone stock '70 383 shortblock, stock 906s, MP 509, stock rockers and Hemi springs, TM-6 intake, 750 Holley with the ProForm center (830cfm???), 1 3/4" headers, Herb McCandless clutch and 4.30s. It ran 12.50s@108 on 27" Hoosier cheater slicks!!! Do NOT rule out the 383 for anything fun!!!
