NHRA used to require the stockers to run a mecahnical pump with a the electric pumps years ago. I ran a Holley blue pump with no regulator to a Carter NASCAR Hemi race mechanical pump on my M.W. stocker for years, no street use If your going to do that I would use the BG feul regulator before the mecahnical pump to make sure that the electric pump would not rupture the diaphram on the mechanical due to to high of inlet pressures of the BG pump. The BG HR pumps are designed to be a street pump, what are your worrys on running it by itself?
