Have you pulled a sparkplug, grounded it and see if you have spark jumping across the gap? If so then put your finger over #1 hole with no plug in it and bring it up to TDC on the damper while feeling compression push past your finger. Stop it at TDC and twist your distributor until it's at #1, check the rest of the wires for proper firing order, then button it together and start it up.
If you don't have spark jumping the gap on the grounded plug you have to do more work to see why you have no spark. Most likely a bad ballast resistor or ECU unless you still have points?
