It will be a hot street car, but the chassis is not set up for drag racing. It will never hook and I'm not getting a Dana anytime soon, but I do intend to wring the combination out as much as the 23 spline will let me.

A. 9.4:1 .484 cammed 383, 915 heads/DP4B, 1 7/8" hookers, 650 dp and 3.91 SG outback on in a 68 Roadrunner with lots of chassis stiffening and handling upgrades.

I tried driving a new civic si with a really touchy hydraulic clutch and I just couldn't launch or do much of anything right. I get in a 68 charger with a really stiff pressure plate combo and I can powershift and haul around with no issues.
