Then the car was put on a body cart where the main bodywork was done.(alignment of panels and all the filler work) The hood, doors, front/rear valences and trunk lid were taken off right before the color went on and were painted off the car.




As I learned, this is the normal high quality way of doing it. For me, I'd shoot the interior and underside, then assemble it on it on it's wheels, then block it, then remove the parts to paint and reassemble. The seams will move when it's supporting itself. If you really want beyond perfect, it should have the driveline in it too.
