The reason the throttle response is better is because that with one big blade, when you open that carb versus a regular carb the same amount, the SV-1 is letting a lot more air in.........You could do the same with a progressive linkage on a regular 4 barrel.........Just set it up to where the carb opens a lot with very little throttle cable movement......
There's NO WAY that carb will make your motor make more vacuum.........Vacuum is what it is.......
