Sounds like it was just up flashed on the converter in high gear. The motor never really rev's up...

It was revved up, it hit 5k rpm on that quick acceleration.
If I were to get the 727 rebuilt- are there any mods I should have done to it, or a shift kit installed or just go back with a stock rebuild? 440 is mild, just a cam and heads I'd say 480hp.
How can I tell if my kickdown linkage is stuck? On 2nd thought I don't think that's it- its felt like this for 2 years now.
