Actually side by side, the ch4b is a little larger than a stock intake. It's an improvement, but whether it's worth it depends a lot on the rest of the build. With stock unported heads and revving to 5500 or less, you can't go wrong with the ch4b. Revving to 6k with aftermarket heads, the nod goes to the RPM intake. Keep in mind the ch4b will provide a little better throttle response than the rpm.
