OK, along those lines, I race a street driven car, the slow, ugly heap in the sig pic. I KNOW (from years of working at Norwalk) that antifreeze is horrible stuff on the racing surface. Will the water wetter type products keep me cool enough to drive to and from where I race? Sometimes it's 1 1/2 hours one way to the track.

the antifreeze rule doesn't apply to street cars that I know of. the chances of them blowing up is slim. just about every unmodified street car probably has it in them.

Yeah, but even though my car is stock, 99% of it's purpose is for racing. I'm thinkng of flushing the anti-freeze mix out, and storing it until I put it away for the winter. I'm more worried about a hose or clamp going bad than grenading my slant 6.

well OK if it makes you feel better it's a race car
