Bleed the master by having someone apply light pressure to the pedal, then crack the lines open at the master, then close them, then release the brake pedal. make sure you put a rag under the lines when you crack them open so the drips don't land on paint.

I know that it would seem like the master SHOULD bleed itself as you pump it and push fluid out the lines to the wheels, but it doesnt!
