I'm assuming that this motor has a set of eddy RPM heads, if so you shouldset the cold lash at least .006 tighter than what the cam card calls for hot, IE if the card calls for .016 hot on the intake and .018 hot on the EX set the intake at .010 cold and the EX. at .012 cold. Best bet is to set them, warm the motor up to at leeast 180 F long enough to get the oil hot and then check a couple of the settings when hot, if there tight relash all of them up, if there loose check and reset as neccessary My street motor with a Comp Cams solid roller set at .024 hot is noticanbly quiet, many people ask if it has a hydraullic cam and lifters in it, of course it does
