I used to run almost the same setup in a 67 Valiant- std bore 360 with speed pro flat tops, 587 heads 2.02's, 280/.474 cam, RPM manifold w/3310 750cfm holley, 727 w/stock hi stall and RMVB, 3.23 SG.

The biggest problem I had was traction, I had to roll into it and by 20-30 could go WOT with only a little spinning, If I nailed it at 50-60mph and shift to 2nd it would spin a lot too.

I don't know where the the cam was actually installed but it was on the +4 position on the spocket, I was 18 when I put the car together and didn't really care about stuff like that at the time, Good thing is I was putting the motor together at a friends house and his Dad didn't want of us to get embarassed so he usually would set up the cam's, re-curve dist's etc to make sure they run ok.
