I am thinking about buying a set of the zeeker heads, do these heads have any problems? I've heard they flow like the indy-1s. Do they use stock style valve covers, rocker arm assembly ect?

They were originally designed by Loren Zedek back around 1989. They were the first aluminum version of the Max Wedge that I can remember. Some of the castings had porosity problems. Never heard of the cracking problem before this post. They use off set intake rockers (same as the 440-1) and rocker shafts are in the stock location, so valve covers are readily available. They are a lot taller than a stock head and the set I have uses the longest available Chevy valves with 11/32 stems. Mine has a lot of metal around the ports and could be opened up larger than a max wedge port if you really needed to do that. They do oil thru the head like a stock 440 head does.
