Probably overkill. I think that with aluminum heads and 10.25:1 , pump gas would be O.K. I don't know that there is any more power to be had by using more octane than you need to avoid detonation. You could throw a little more timing at it if it likes it , but unless you are near detonation , I bet 93 would be fine.
