I have a 71 Satellite with a 318. I just picked up a 1997 360 Magnum from a Ram 1500 yesterday. It has AC compressor, power steering, alternator, pulleys, starter still attached... pretty much a complete pull. I want to build a 400HP 360 without breaking the bank. It needs to be very streetable and I want to maintain the A/C and power brakes. I also want to use the serpentine belt setup if possible. My current tranny is a 904 and it was recently rebuilt. I'd like to keep that too. Anything to save $$$ will be helpful. What are your suggestions?

If you don't want to break the bank, why run a serpentine belt? Put that cost into the motor that will get you HP.

Because it's a 97 360 with a stock serpentine setup on it. Why remove it? That would save you no money.

Basically follow the recipie for the MP 380hp/360ci crate motor. One of the mopar mags dynoed one after tuning and got over 400hp.
