Truck's at about 4600 lbs. I started the pulls at 3500 but the dyno drug it down to 3000 at WOT and the plugs showed no signs of detonation. The first 360 I had in it was approximately 9:1 and it was a detonation king. Ran pretty good, but it had to run on premium. The last motor before this 440 was also a 360 but with tight quench (.035") and mag r/t heads. It runs on 85 octane and makes more power than the old 360. But I yanked it and stuffed it in the challenger.
I expect the truck will want less timing than the total 38, but I might be pleasantly surprised. Remember guys, I'm at 4400 feet. Rarely get below 3500. I think I coulda found another 15 or so hp with a 850 or 950, but I didn't have time to play, just cam break in and a few pulls to get the carb dialed in.
I know the 11.2:1 408 I had that broke that lovely beagle crank wouldn't ping on 89 at 5500 ft. Beggars can't be choosers. Eventually it'll have some RPM's on it.

Oh, headers were 1-7/8" I believe.
