Engine is stock and I will check what spring is in it...the carb is installed as "calibrated" by the factory. You say I should be using the oragne spring?? If I find there is a different spring in there, is this the one I should change to?? I DO have the calibration kit for the carburetor.



You can get the throttle adaper from summit or any of the auto parts places that sell edelbrock carbs usually have them. I've seen them at pep boys. The orange spring 5"hg is what should be in it as new. With a stock engine that one should be fine. In an earlier post you said it was one step rich, I would lean the choke out a little and go 1 step on the chart leaner than where you are now and see what happens to your fuel mileage.
