Having put an F body front clip under a 35 Dodge, I can tell you they are too wide, and the torsion bars and subframe brackest extend beyond the front fenders of the mid 30s sheetmetal. There are other issues with the F body clip as well. Though they can be made to work, sort of, they are not the best choice for early (or any in my opinoin) street rod. And I'm a hard core Mopar guy.
