I am curious as to what the extra cost of running faster than 10 second quarters is (ballpark) not including engine, etc. What I'm interested in are the yearly fees from NHRA / IHRA, required safety equipment I wouldn't already be using in the low 10's. I plan on running E.T. brackets at local tracks mostly. Also, is it worth it to run one or two Summit Racing series races? The 65 Dart will be getting a 4 link back half, 33x15 slicks, full cage, pinto front, stroked 440, 727, and a 9 inch. I'm jumping the gun, as this build will take awhile as I am doing everything myself, and money of course.

Thanks,
Roy

To be honest unless you going sub 9s it isnt worth
all the money and headaches... certing the cage,
buying the ND mag to get a NHRA license, medical,
added safety equipment(pants, jacket, gloves, neck
collar)... I'm either finding a driver for my car
OR going back to 10.0 ... JMO
