I'm not sure about the earlier rigs but I was told by Scott Koffel that his father, Dave Koffel sr. handed out 7 or 8 of the 1975 car haulers to the factory backed super stock racers when he was director of the drag race program for Chrysler.
To his recollection, the haulers went to Leal, Hagen, Rossi, Lilly, Landy to name a few.
I think by that time in history, Sox and Martin had closed up shop for the most part.
