You can but you need to be able to balance it and hemi's have a heavy bobweight because of the piston size, use a longer rod and you can make the piston smaller to help .

I had a scat/MP low deck stroker crank , it didn't fit in the block because of the counterweight diameter . After looking at it best I could figure is it was a HEMI RESTO crank , it was 5140 , wit hthe mains cut down only . I had to cut a 1/4 inch plus off the counterweight diameters to get it to fit which worked out well as it only needed 2 small holes to balance to my 2200 gram bobweight .
