Yes, I spent hours and hours wire brushing the framerails and I coated them with about 5 coats of rust encapsulator.(I used Rustoleum brand) I left the top of the rails unpainted and dusted them with a very light layer of weld-thru primer.

Unfortunately I can't find pics of that, I think I was too excited to get the trunk back in.
