With the shield sandwiched between the trans and a stock steel floor the strap probably doesn't do much. If you have a thin aluminum floor use the strap! You could fail tech without the strap if you're required to have the shield.



I don't use my strap....it's rolled up out of the way....I don't see how the shield could go anywhere.
