That's a real poor example, as you (I guess) are referring to dragstrip scenerio

Chrysler may have made "millions" without them but generally these were lower performance cars. My old 64 Dodge 426 (440 body) had the biggest brakes Ma made, and a swaybar. My LATER 64 440 "Golden Anniversary" which came with a 318 had puny brakes and NO swaybar (I guess Ma figured we 318 owners didn't need to stop as fast.)

OF COURSE you can drive it without, that doesn't mean it won't make a sizeable effect. It just might be, who knows??? that that wild eyed whoopa you might make sometime avoiding that stupid dear in the road---that swaybar MIGHT just be the difference as to whether you hit the deer or not, or land in the ditch.
