Full bodied cars, with unaltered firewall, floor and body (from firewall rearward, wheeltubs permitted), running between 10.00 (*6.40) and 10.99 (*6.99) roll bar permitted in place of roll cage.
Does that meen that you dont need anything running slower than 10.99 or 6.99?
NO - It means that if you DON'T have a stock floor pan/firewall, you need a roll cage at 10.99 not 9.99 (6.99 not 6.40).
As Eric stated - Roll bar is required from 11.49 (7.49) to 10.00 (6.41) as long as you have a stock firewall and floor pan
(minor mods usually considered OK - no gaping holes or having large panels replaced. Welded or bolted covers over wiper openings, heater holes, etc. are OK.)
As a CURRENT NHRA SFI Certified Safety Technician, I agree with the above statements made by Mr. Eric Paul (Irun6snd8th) LOL
