Hey guys, I have a 72 Duster with a 318/a-833OD transmission. Instead of building up the 318 I'm thinking about a 360. I found a good running 360 out of a 1987 Dodge Ram pickup with 57,000 miles on it for $300, seems like a good deal.

Question is will this engine bolt right up to my 4 speed, it was hooked to an auto? Are there diferent motors for standard and suto, and how can I tell? If so can I use the flywheel off the 318, or am I going to have to buy some stuff for the swap?

I've always been an auto guy, this is my first stick so I'm learning as I go. Any info would be great, Thanks

Also anyone know what the HP/TQ and compression of these motors are? I'm looking at finding a running 360, swaping in a good cam and swaping over the Edelbrock intake, 650 Holley, and headers off my 318. I figure its a better rought then trying to work up the 318 any more, seeing as I can do more with it in the future.
