I have looked through that book and read about the crossover. Absolutley no reason on any sm mopar for that to be done. Oil to the other side lifters can and should be turned off completley if a non hyd camshaft is used. To bridge across and feed it more oil over there, what could be the posible reason? All it could do is force more oil from around the lifters to fall down on the crankshaft and slow it down. My junk runs pretty good and hold up well. Also on the other post for oiling mods, that is a very good way to do it, other than opening up 1-4 feed holes to 9/32". I just do 2-4 and leave #1 alone as it is only feeding 1 rod so the factory size is good. 2-4 feed 2 rods each
