The GT's an mod-motor cars DO use integral bell T-45's, as has been mentioned. The V-6 Mustangs from 1999 up to some point continued to use the T-5, at least according to some info that I got from Tremec. These are the 3.8L cars One of the nice things about these boxes is that they have a longer input, so they tend to work better in a Mopar swap. They're rated at 300 lb-ft continuous, so I think they'd last just fine in a driver situation. There are also HD gear sets out there if you NEED to upgrade, and plenty of aftermarket support for rebuild and other upgrade goodies.

Keep us posted if you go down that road. If I didn't already have a Toyota trans to work with, I'd be working on a T-5, too.
