you are certainly correct about the oldies stations playing the same tunes over and over, seemingly on an endless loop, Cab.
here, there is a "music choice" channel lineup i get with Xfinity.
lots of different music choices to choose from, and it seems they go out of the way to having a playlist that is not repetitive, and includes a good variety of obscure artists and "one hit wonders".
still, in this thread, i have been exposed to artists i have never heard of, or have forgotten about.
