A buddy of mine here has an very nice '73 340 4 speed Cuda. Yellow. Nearly all original. He came to me a few years ago with a wing that he wanted help mounting. I begged him to get a repop trunk and drill the damn holes in it rather than in the original paint trunk deck.

Rather than spend that money, he just shelved the idea. Thank Goodness.

When these cars were new or nearly new, it was rare to see a spoiler (or wing) on anything other than the T/A cars. But now, EVERYTHING has to have holes in their trunk so they can stick a spoiler /wing on it.

It certainly proves the point that beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
