My friend says to always buy the pads with the least warranty. Feels that to make them last longer they put too much metallic into the pad material and that minimizes the initial braking and will most likely squeal down the road. Hey it could be true.
Those would be organic pads, lol. They under perform semi-metallic pads in regards to braking performance. They are quieter and they might not chew up rotors as much, but they don't stop as well.
One issue with modern, undersized, brakes is that if you go from OEM semi metallic to organics you will really notice the difference.
