I know about the RO cars from 64/65, 67 and 68. But was curious what MOPAR support for racing in 69 and 70. Specifically Hemi using Carter AFBs.

I came across a 1970 Hemi street AFB rear carburetor that was modified for racing, but not your typical owner type modifications. This carb was professionally modified in my opinion, with some unique features, factory type plugs, precision machine work; Vanke primary venturi's but unique jetting and meter rods. Vacuum ports plugged, but a metered brass bleed plug installed in what would have been the distributor vacuum port. Modified air valve, and pinned choke but blade still on, while all fast idle and choke control removed.

Did mopar provide this kind of support to racers driving 70 model hemi's that had to use street carbs? Shops that specialized in this type of mod in 69 and 70 time frame? Thanks for any info.
