I think that there are many very smart people in some of these Facebook groups, they are just burnt out by the abundance of idiots on there, so they say nothing.
Much can be said for reading something decent or learning about it yourself. Seems to be a lot of people are afraid to test things out for themselves these days.
And then you have the booksmart guys that don’t do anything themselves but question or tell everyone else how to do it. Lol 😂
We've got a few of them here
I work with engineers and material scientists, sometimes the will spend weeks thinking about a solution to a problem, when all it takes is a couple of quick experiments to get the answers.
