topside Too Many Posts Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 20,825 A collage of whims	I've used one - IIRC, it was the Accurate design - years ago on my '63 Savoy Maxie tribute. I'd done a dual MC conversion, and the big Maxie manifolds, and 1st ride into town the MC was getting overheated to the point of soft brake pedal. Added that heat shield, and no problems afterward.
