1980 Diplomat coupe here, the stroker W2 motor was installed this season and with it I made the move to the 1-7/8" primary tube TTIs from the 1-5/8" Hookers, and boy, did it get HOT under the hood!

Given the temps and the fact that that MC sits right over the exhaust, and thus the radiant heat is just baking that thing (so fluid gets hot, but so does the plastic fluid container) I am looking to install a heat shield.

Looking around I found a couple of choices:

1) Accurate Exhuast
2) Mancini Racing

...so I'm curious how well these things work?

I do not mind spending the $$$ if either one is a good solution...but for what seems to be just a sheet of metal bent into a not too complex of a shape, the asking price is a little high???
