I was watching a F6 A12 Bee that was at North shore Classics in IL. It was advertised at $149,900 for over a year. It was also on e-bay at the same time (multiple auctions over many months). Apparently now finally sold. It looked pretty clean and was advertised as winning Gold. I always thought the price was a little ambitious but apparently someone liked it well enough. Not sure what the dealers cut is there. Had a 69? Shelby GT500KR come thoruhg the shop a few years back with all kinds of awards and cerificates. 40K later the car was driveable.
The trans had a severe vibration, disassembly revealed an output shaft that had been WELDED back together. Straight you ask? About .100 out at the end of the shaft. Then the RR lower corner of the L valve cover was leaking quite a bit. Strange as they were factory aluminum covers
A good chunk of the cylinder head was missing in that area and built up with JB. I could write a book on the horror's I've seen. BUT it was certified GOLD and had a bunch of other 💩 certificates /awards
