I agree with many who feel its not a bad price. So it may not be the dream car but a nice car but its in the 20k range not the 50k range.

Pretty easy to make a starter list of the prices just to buy a starter car. Price a S60 , price the parts to build even an entry level cast crank stroker just for examples. When you get you list done add on 25% for all the little stuff thats gonna nickle and dime ya to death. Then ask yourself how many hours your gonna have in the car and pay yourself $10 an hour.

For many not hooked on what it was and for one who just wants a nice car to drive and thrash a bit.... there it is. Folks get hellbent on green. Get over it, it was a color of the times and many of all brands were green. But hey, nothing 10k and a year at the body/paint shop cant fix.... all while many of use are old and hell by time its out of the body shop you might not be able to walk.

Just saying there is a lot of positive aspects to a decent car thats not all hacked together thats ready to get in and drive. Or feel free to got the purist route, shell out 50k on one that people will still take issue with if not 100% correct in there eyes... (How many wrong hose clamp meltdowns do we see?)

This is where the internet is jacked up a bit. Back in the day a person found a car in the local paper and went and looked and if they drove and liked it they took home there new toy and was happy as a lark. Now every old guy is a critic and then an expert, just ask them.

Ever notice some of the nicest cars, weather driver or resto mod never get posted on the web? Hard to have a happy hobby when everyone is a cynical chief with only a few Indians around.
