According to some it can't even be "touched".
Just think: It's attached to a foam/vinyl dash pad, which is only screwed onto a metal frame, which is then bolted onto the car's steel structure.
Seems the automaker made it really easy to "move" it as needed.
So if you remove the dash pad from your car, you broke the law?
