I would have to agree with this , I don't think the original pan was a 7qt total system , I have 2 original pans and they are the same depth as the repop , though I don't have a Mancini repop mine are MP , well at least one is , I think I got the other from Hoover's .
As far as the dipstick being off , what dipstick do you have 69 ? Also you need to let the motor sit for a while before checking the oil as it doesn't all fall directly back into the pan , especially with a mopar windage tray .
