I was thinking the same thing, then i looked at my dyno graph and compared it to my dyno sheet. I realized i was spinning the motor way to high!!!! I was shifting around 6800, but peak TQ is at 4000 and by 6500 rpms ive lost over 200 ftlbs of tq. and around 150 HP. I think i need to shift it a bit sooner.

I guess this is all part of the learning process.
