This has never happened in my life before, but last night the bottom heating element in our Frigidaire stove blew - got overheated & hummed, then popped, & sparked & melted in one place. I watched some videos last night on BoobTube - apparently this is not uncommon.

SO, I went out & bought a new one this afternoon & just installed it - VERY simple install. This is the type of element our stove has: https://youtu.be/menDB7rH58I

Anyway, just installed it, turned the breaker back on, turned the oven on to preheat, & nothing - no heat through the new element. I left it on for about 4 minutes, then turned it off & shut the breaker off. I'm thinking something else internal - not just the coil. Any ideas?
