Yeah. It was the first year that the Torino was body on frame as well. I think that frame or platform pretty much evolved into the 1977-1979 Ford Thunderbird and Mercury Cougar before they went back to a Unibody under the "Fox" Platform. I know it's a personal opinion but, I like think the 1972 Ford Torino Sport is on top of my favorite designs from Ford for me personally.
