You may need plenty of rotation on the forward socket in order to get the T'bar installed. Then you can simply use a floor jack to get the spindle into the top ball joint.

Another tip for torsion bars that fight you to get in or out is to get a 1" steel rope clamp and use it to hammer on when getting the T'bar into or out of place.


I made this a while ago for torsion bar removal and installation, with a nice place to hit with a hammer or mallet. Works like a charm.
